We train athletes, coaches, judges, and officials, we form and administer teams for out-of-territory competitions, we organize and sanction events, and we represent Yukon riders in Canada~Snowboard, which is the national sports organization for snowboarding in Canada.

Community Programs
Snowboard Yukon is committed to facilitating programming across Yukon. On-snow facilities and local leadership are key to these initiatives.

Switch Ride Collective Lessons & Meetups
Switch Ride Collective is hosting Lessons and Meetups for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, Queers, and folks of all genders. These events are held the second Sunday of each month from December to March! We’ll play some games and get to know each other then split into Meetup and Lesson groups.
Pricing:
- Neverevers: For folks trying snowboarding for the first time or looking to improve on the bunny hill: FREE with a Snowboard Yukon/Canada Membership ($25 fee for the season) and includes Mt. Sima rope tow ticket
- Beginner Lessons: Learn to ride the chair lift for the first time/ improve on various runs on the mountain: $15 with a Snowboard Yukon/Canada Membership ($25 fee for the season) and includes a chair lift ticket
- Meetups: If you’re an intermediate+ rider joining the meetups we are so excited for you to join us! Let us know if you need help paying for a lift ticket or gear rentals because we have some funding to help cover costs.
2025 Dawson Spring Camp @ Moose Mountain
Snowboard Yukon is proud to host a 2-day Spring Snowboard Camp in Dawson City during Spring Break!
The camp is open riders of all ability levels. We will divide participants based on their ability on the day of the camp.
Requirements:
- Riders must be 8 years of age or older.
- Helmets are mandatory.
When: Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11 and 12, 2025 from 12:45-5:00pm
Where: Moose Mountain, Dawson City
Price: $50 2-day camp, plus recreational membership ($25).
Rentals, Lift Ticket and membership are not included in the price.
Schedule:
Welcome/Check-in: 12:45am in the lodge
Riding Time: 1:00-5:00pm – Intros, overview of the day, warm up and riding
Bring snacks and water – we will take breaks as needed.
Pick up time: 5:00pm
Please bring appropriate warm clothing and something to eat or drink if needed.
We have sliding-scale pricing available, so please reach out for more information at info@snowboardyukon.com.

Riding Time: 12:00-4:00pm – Intros, overview of the day, warm up and riding
