Let’s celebrate an awesome season of snowboarding together at the 2025 Yukon Champs!

April 5 & 6, 2025 at Mt. Sima

This event is open to all snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Come out for two days of fun shredding and competition at Mt. Sima in Whitehorse!

…and have you heard about our FAM JAM Trophy?! It’s awarded at the end of the weekend to the Yukon’s top snowboarding family! Points are earned each time a family member competes in an event. The more participation, the more points, so bring the whole family!

Here are the details:

  • Registration is $10 per person per event.
  • Registration for the OPEN category is $20 per person per event. (The OPEN registration fees are pooled and awarded as a cash prize to the winners.)
  • If you aren’t a current member of Snowboard Yukon… we’d like to give you a FREE “Limited Event Membership”! ($15 value), Use this coupon code to avoid the membership fee at checkout: 15OFF
  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • Prizes will be awarded at the end of each day.
  • Event entry fee refunds require approval from the President of Snowboard Yukon. Requests for refunds must be submitted by email to: president@snowboardyukon.com. Please see the Event Refund Policy for more information.

Saturday, April 5 – Eldorado Skate and Snow Slopestyle

Pokey Park – geared towards beginner and intermediate riders

  • 10 years and under;
  • 11-12 years;
  • 13-14 years;
  • 15-17 years; and
  • RAD (18+ – recreational).

Lower Coyote Park – geared towards more advanced riders

  • 16 and under; and
  • OPEN (any age – more competitive).

Sunday, April 6 – Icycle Sports Banked Slalom

Pokey Run – all abilities are welcomed, timed runs

  • 10 years and under;
  • 11-12 years;
  • 13-14 years;
  • 15-17 years;
  • RAD (18+ – recreational); and
  • OPEN (any age – more competitive).

10:45 am – Rider’s meeting top of Pokey Park
11:00 am – Pokey Park Slopestyle comp starts

1:45 pm – Rider’s meeting at Lower Coyote Park
2:00 pm – Lower Coyote Slopestyle comp starts

5:00 pm – Awards near the lodge (Look for our banner)

Sunday, April 6 – Icycle Sports Banked Slalom

9:30-10:30 am – Registration
11:45 am – Race briefing
12:00 pm – Timed runs
4:00 pm – Awards near the lodge (Look for our banner)
