We train athletes, coaches, judges, and officials, we form and administer teams for out-of-territory competitions, we organize and sanction events, and we represent Yukon riders in Canada~Snowboard, which is the national sports organization for snowboarding in Canada.

Snowboard Yukon is committed to facilitating programming across Yukon. On-snow facilities and local leadership are key to these initiatives.

Switch Ride Collective – Lessons & Meetups
Switch Ride Collective is hosting Lessons and Meetups for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, Queers, and folks of all genders. These events are held the second Sunday of each month from December to March! We’ll play some games and get to know each other then split into Meetup and Lesson groups.

Pricing:
Bunny Hill Lessons (Beginner):
- Free with an annual Snowboard Yukon/Canada Membership ($40.68) – includes Bunny hill lift ticket
- This is for folks trying for the first time and/or folks looking to improve on the Bunny hill
Chairlift Lessons (Intermediate)
- $15 with an annual Snowboard Yukon/Canada Membership ($40.68) – includes Chair lift ticket
- This is for folks trying the chair lift for the first time and/or folks looking to improve on the mountain.
Meetups:
- If you’re an intermediate + Snowboarder and/or Skier and want to with others we are so excited for you to join us!
- There is no fee and no need to register for this part of the event, just show up ready to play!
***We have sliding scale lift tickets and gear rentals. Reach out for more information***
Helmets are Mandatory.

2026 Dawson Spring Camp @ Moose Mountain
Snowboard Yukon is proud to host a 3-day Spring Snowboard Camp in Dawson City during Spring Break!
The camp is open riders aged 8+ and all ability levels. We will divide participants based on their ability on the day of the camp.
Requirements:
- Riders must be 8 years of age or older.
- Helmets are mandatory.
When: Monday to Wednesday, March 9-11, 2026
Time: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm (arrive at 1:00 pm to get gear and be ready to ride for 1:30 pm)
Where: Moose Mountain, Dawson City
Price: $60 3-day camp, plus recreational membership ($40).
Rentals, Lift Ticket and membership are not included in the price.
Schedule:
Welcome/Check-in: 1:15pm in the lodge
Riding Time: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Intros, overview of the day, warm up and riding
Bring snacks and water – we will take breaks as needed.
Pick up time: 4:00 pm
Please bring appropriate warm clothing and something to eat or drink if needed.

When: Friday to Sunday, March 13-15, 2026
Time: 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm (Arrive at 11:30 am and be ready to ride at 12:00 pm)
Where: Mount Maichen
Price: $60 3-day camp, plus recreational membership ($40).
Rentals, Lift Ticket and membership are not included in the price.
Schedule:
